We are seeking a talented software engineer to work on the tools and microservices that make up our big data platform. Netflix is ingesting hundreds of terabytes of data a day and has petabytes of data in the data warehouse. We work hard to build a platform that allows our data scientists to deal with this data at scale. But that isn't the only way that we need to interact with the data. This is where you come in. Whether it is building tools to allow for better exploration and visualization of the data, creating services to help coordinate work on the platform, or dreaming up new ways to write software that is simple yet powerful, we have a lot of hard, exciting problems to solve and many smart people to work with while we make Netflix the best place to enjoy movies and TV worldwide.
