The Netflix platform powers the movie viewing experience for 50+ million of customers everyday, on thousands of devices. At the heart of the Netflix platform is the Account Platform that powers onboarding of new customers, their service level, distributed transactions across various systems, managing customers identity and credentials, catalog preferences, playback preferences and more. We're looking for an experienced software engineer who can help us architect, build and scale the platform (to several million QPS) to support the company's rapid growth. We're re-evaluating our technology stack from distributed database & caching technologies to reactive programming models to non-blocking serving systems like netty etc.

We are looking for someone with...
- 5+ years experience hands-on server-side development
- Expertise in object oriented programming in languages like Java, Scala, C++, C#
- Solid understanding of concurrency and data structures
- A strong CS background. MS in CS preferred
- Some experience with distributed data systems like Cassandra
- Some experience with caching systems like MemCached, redis
- Some experience with linux and scripting languages
