Netflix is  looking for an innovative and deeply technical leader for our information security team. You'll work as part of the larger security organization and will own all aspects of our information security program.

You are a strong leader with experience in many aspects of security and are comfortable rigorously applying business context, culture, and direction when prioritizing and guiding your team. You have expert written and verbal communication skills and are equally adept at diving deep into technical issues and debating controversial topics with company executives.

You will take this all-star team to the next level, and will adapt and drive our security approach as Netflix continues its massive membership growth and global expansion.

Responsibilities
- Own and drive Netflix's information security program, encompassing IT and employee technology systems (e.g. devices, applications, etc.), regulatory compliance, legal interactions for security, employee security awareness, employee identity, and corporate infrastructure security.
- Collaborate with leaders and teams across the company to ensure our approach to security meets company cultural principles while achieving security requirements and objectives.

Domain Experience
- Familiarity and experience with common options and vendors across the security control landscape (e.g. malware detection, MDM, SSO, SIM/SIEM, etc.)
- Regulatory compliance management and control development, including PCI and SOX
- Diverse and varied security experience relating to large-scale online services (ideally with a consumer focus)
- International experience (including security, regulatory, and legal requirements)
- Exposure to and experience with public cloud and DevOps environments

Qualifications
- 5+ years leading security functions or teams
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
